Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele in Trenton, New Jersey, United States. Start date: 06/16/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,039–$2,173. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). This is a travel, temporary assignment in a hospital setting with floating to Med Surg Tele units and ED holds as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients on Med Surg Tele units, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, manage IV therapy, and respond to changes in condition; escalate to the physician/team as needed.
- Float to Med Surg Tele units and ED holds as needed; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Document care in the Cerner EMR accurately and timely; adhere to patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Jersey or a compact state at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg Tele experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift and to float to other MST units/ED holds as required
- Cerner EMR experience or exposure; willingness to learn and document in Cerner
- Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
