Job Details Job ID: 287915 Location: Omni-Channel Distribution Center Address: 9394 Sephora Way, Avon, IN 46123, United States (US) Job Type: Full Time Position Type: Regular Job Function: Distribution Center About the Role DC Specialists perform a variety of operational office and clerical duties including wave planning, delivery scheduling, order tracking, auditing, paperwork management, and generating departmental reports, depending upon the department and function they are assigned. A thorough knowledge of the operations for the department they are assigned to is essential. Essential Functions Follow all established company standard operating procedures to ensure integrity of assigned work and production output. Train floor associates in departmental preferred methods and standard operating procedures. Proactively respond to direction from leadership team, including Shift Coordinators, management staff and other departmental personnel. Follow all Company, state and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations to ensure safe working practices, including proper work attire; report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel. Comply with all Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures, including proper work attire. Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by Sephora. Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs. Provide high quality internal and external customer service per company standards. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or menu‑driven applications, and/or ability to learn systems. Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Basic math skills. Demonstrates effective problem‑solving. Ability to work independently. Detail‑oriented. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with associates and vendors at multiple levels both in person, on the phone and in writing. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to understand other functions of the business as they apply to the position. Flexible to change and able to handle multiple priorities. Ability to prepare professional level correspondence. Must be proactive to business needs. Ability to give and receive feedback effectively. Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a way that promotes teamwork. Possess a positive and enthusiastic demeanor. Other Responsibilities Supervisory Responsibilities: None Working Conditions Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environments. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Minimum Qualifications Previous experience working in a distribution center/warehouse environment preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Compensation Starting base pay is $21.50–$23.00 per hour. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay.
