Pay Rate: $30.40 - $47.55/hr

Schedule: Direct-Hire

Position Summary

Provides care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and families.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
• Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
• Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
• Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
• Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
• Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.

Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration, etc.)

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.

Within 30 days of hire you must have (CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment):

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Some positions may require ACLS.
