In this role, you'll work directly with contractors, homeowners, and business customers to help them select and purchase plumbing, HVAC, heating, and well & water products.This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, counter sales, inside sales, retail, wholesale, plumbing, HVAC, or construction experience. Industry experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person who has strong customer service skills and a desire to learn.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers in person and over the phone with product selection, pricing, quotes, and ordersRecommend products and solutions based on customer needsBuild strong relationships with contractors, homeowners, and business customersProcess customer orders accurately and efficientlyPull, verify, and prepare ordersAnswer product questions and provide knowledgeable customer serviceWork with Branch Management, Outside Sales, the warehouse, and manufacturers to meet customer needsMaintain an organized and well-stocked sales counterLearn new products and industry information through ongoing trainingHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualificationsCustomer service, counter sales, inside sales, retail, or wholesale experience preferredPlumbing, HVAC, heating, construction, building materials, or mechanical product knowledge is a plusStrong communication and customer service skillsPositive, professional, and customer-focused attitudeAbility to multitask and stay organizedDependable and motivated with a willingness to learnComfortable working in a team environmentAbility to lift up to 25 pounds as neededPay & Benefits$22–$28 per hour, depending on experienceMonday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PMOnly 1 Saturday per month, 8:00 AM–12:00 PMNo Saturday hours during the summerHealth and Dental Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Vacation and Personal TimeOngoing Product and Industry TrainingCareer Growth and Advancement OpportunitiesSupportive, Team-Oriented Work EnvironmentFamily-Owned CompanyAbout Snow and JonesFounded in 1952, Snow and Jones, Inc. is an established New England distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and well & water products.
