Quality Laboratory Technician

TRC is hiring for a Quality Lab Technician for a client located in Asheboro, NC!   What You Get:

• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• $18-23/hour, DOE
• Climate controlled environment

What You Will Be Doing:

• Responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analyses (Visual and test data) of finished goods and raw materials
• Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release
• Responsible for creation of Certificate of Acceptance (CoA) and final release of products
• Monitor performance against targets on a daily basis and promptly communicate the result with production
• Participate in validation, calibration, and preparation of quality related customer reporting
• Maintain laboratory equipment, manage and update calibration of equipment in the calibration software
• Provide inputs for strong in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications across departments
• Assist in training of company personnel in quality related Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage lab consumable incoming check and inventory management
• Assist Quality Manager in day-to-day task/support request
• Work in a quality conscious manner

What We Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledgeable of quality assurance requirements from multiple countries
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Great written, analytical, and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Must have the ability to generate solid documentation
• Must be reliable with the ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in a related field
• Basic computer experience required. Microsoft Office, Excel, and Microsoft AX experience
