Program Coordinator

We are now accepting applications for a qualified Program Coordinator at Belmont University. Employment Type Staff Internal Job Category Exempt (Staff) Full-Time Department College of Art Hours 37.5 Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Anticipated start date is Monday, January 4th, 2027 Assist with planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the Adult Community Education program, summer youth programs, corporate programs, and outreach events as needed. Assist with marketing including program newsletters, event listing updates and other marketing tasks as assigned. Manage social media accounts. Answer phone calls and emails from program participants to assist with program registrations, payments, and refunds. Maintain, order, organize and keep inventory of program supplies. Prepare supplies, equipment and classrooms for classes, workshops and demonstrations. Help prepare teaching artist contracts, course rosters, and program syllabi prior to programs. Maintain databases of participants, mailing lists, teaching artist rosters, and community partner organizations. Help ensure compliance of all procedures and policies regarding youth programming. Help hire, train, supervise part-time employees, student-workers, and volunteers. Work with the Director of Community Education to prepare reports on program outcomes for donors and program stakeholders. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in education, art, business, or related field. 3 years experience in art education, arts administration, or a general office/administrative role. Organized, self-motivated, detail and customer-service oriented. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus. Successful completion of a criminal background check. Experience working with diverse populations and age-groups in an educational setting. Required Education Bachelor’s degree in education, art, business, or related field. Required Experience Preferred: 3 years experience in art education, arts administration, or a general office/administrative role.
