Remote Customer Service Representative (CSR 2 – Client Support)

Work From Home | New Jersey Residents Only- (BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE)

Start Dates: November 2 or November 16

Pay Rates
$18.00/hour – Monolingual
$19.00/hour – Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Location

100% Remote / Work From Home Must reside in New Jersey .

Paid Training

Schedule :

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Eastern
3-week training period

Important:

Candidates must remain on camera throughout training and nesting.
Full attendance during training and nesting is required.

⏰ Work Schedule Availability

After training, team members must be available to work any schedule within:

Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Possible requirement to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on the last two Sundays in January.

Candidates must be able to commit to working any assigned schedule within these hours.

What You'll Do as a Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as a trusted resource for Marketplace consumers and help them understand their healthcare coverage options.

Responsibilities include:

Answer inbound calls from Marketplace consumers, prospective enrollees, and authorized representatives.
Provide general information regarding health insurance coverage through the Marketplace.
Assist individuals and families with completing health insurance applications.
Build and verify tax households, household income, and eligibility information.
Explain Marketplace eligibility determinations and enrollment options.
Enroll consumers into qualified health plans.
Process demographic updates, life event changes, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment period requests.
Respond to inbound and outbound customer contacts while adhering to company procedures and privacy requirements.
Track and document all customer interactions using applicable systems.
Fulfill requests for materials through mail, email, or electronic download.
Coordinate translation services for non-English-speaking callers as needed.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams for resolution.
Attend required meetings, trainings, and ongoing educational sessions.
Maintain current knowledge of Marketplace programs, policies, and systems.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

✅ Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
Strong telephone and data entry skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be comfortable being on camera throughout training sessions.
Must maintain full attendance during training and nesting.
Must have a reliable home office setup that meets equipment requirements.

Preferred:

Associate degree or higher.
Previous customer service or call center experience.
Experience using computers, phone systems, and headsets.
Bilingual Spanish/English.

Equipment Requirements (BYOD)

This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) opportunity . Candidates must have:

Internet Requirements
Traditional wired home internet service required.

Minimum speeds:
100 Mbps download
20 Mbps upload
Less than 50 ms latency
Hardware Requirements
Second monitor required
USB plug-and-play wired headset with microphone and noise suppression
Windows 11 operating system, Intel Core i5 processor (or equivalent)
8 GB RAM required (16 GB preferred)
512 GB storage required. Additional Requirements
Smartphone with at least 200 MB available memory to download the Microsoft Authenticator app
