Overview This opening is for our Housekeeper II position. Employees may perform their work at any or all of the following locations depending on their manager's direction: Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion: 444 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215 Livingston Ambulatory Center: 380 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215 Livingston Orthopedic and Surgery Center: 405 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215 Conference Center: 520 Butterfly Gardens Drive, Columbus, OH 43215 Main Campus: 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, OH 43205 Position is specifically for 1st Shift. Must work the required schedule of Monday‑Friday 7:00‑3:30p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays. Job Summary Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families, and customers. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and coordinate with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues, and other concerns. Demonstrate knowledge of the 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards. Practice proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions. Maintain closet, housekeeping cart, and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly, and good working condition. Maintain department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent, required. Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to speak and understand English. Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process. Demonstrate ability to prioritize and multi‑task. Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Physical fitness to meet the requirements listed below. Certifications If the position is housed within a behavioral health environment, successful completion of TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) is required during orientation or within 90 days of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
