Full-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Verber Family Dentistry is looking for a Full-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Camp Hill team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort.
• Take radiographs for diagnostics.
• Set up and maintain treatment rooms.
• Review and update patient dental records.
• Assist with placing and contouring fillings.
• Support in placing sealants and restorations.
• Able to complete coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene education.
• Sterilize equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients

Requirements:

What You'll Bring (Minimum Requirements):

• Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania
• CPR certification (in-house training available)
• PA X-Ray Certificate
• Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns
• Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures

A Plus If You Also Have (preferred, but not required):

• Prior experience using dental software, including Open Dental
