Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Newaygo that are seeking skilled CNC Machinists. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operation, tooling, and programming.
• Maintain and clean CNC machines and work areas.
• Select and replace tooling as needed for various machining operations.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize efficiency and part quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Ability to perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures
