Staffing Scheduler

Job Details: Job Location: RHRC Rhinelander - Rhinelander, WI 54501, Job Summary:

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Assists in recordkeeping and documentation of attendance and tardiness
• Reviews complaints and grievances pertinent to scheduling and staffing and make necessary oral and/or written reports to the Staff Coordinator

Qualifications: Duties/Responsibilities

• Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants
• Works with human resources/recruiting to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees
• Maintains the scheduling system for bi-weekly payroll
• Assists employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing, including timecards, time off requests and leave of absence paperwork
• Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action
• Documents employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functions
• Acts as a back up for Staff Coordinator role
• Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility
• Good typing and Mathematical Skills

Education and Experience

High school education or GED equivalent required with college-level training preferred
