Job Summary

STAFFXPERT is seeking a highly experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer with 15 years of hands-on Cisco networking experience to support and enhance enterprise and data center network infrastructure for the State of Mississippi. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco ACI Nexus Catalyst SDA Cisco ISE ThousandEyes Cyber Vision DNA Spaces Palo Alto Networks and core routing and switching technologies. This role requires a strong background in designing implementing securing monitoring and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise network environments.

Required Skills& Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI in production environments.
• 15 years of experience with Cisco Networking.
• 15 years of experience working with Cisco Systems products.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or government network environments.
• Deep knowledge of ACI constructs (VRF BD EPGESG L3Out contracts).
• Experience integrating ACI with OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst platforms and SDA fabric technologies.
• Experience administering Cisco ISE including TACACS and policy-set based NAC.
• Strong understanding of Thousand Eyes Cyber Vision and DNA Spaces or comparable tools.
• Solid command of core TCP/IP routing switching QoS and network security fundamentals.
• Ability to develop clear diagrams documentation and architectural artifacts.
• Strong analytical and communication skill swith the ability to work in fast-paced mission-critical environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNP Data Center certification.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise certification.
• Cisco CCIE certification.
• Experience with container networking technologies.
• Experience with virtualization platform integrations.
• Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience supporting State Government environments.
• Experience with network automation using:
  • Python
  • Ansible
  • REST APIs
• Palo Alto Certifications:
  • PCCSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate)
  • PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)
