Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state business tax returns and related work papers for corporations, partnerships and individual clients, as well as other necessary tax filings, including extensions, power of attorney, etc.

• Informs, guides and advises clients on tax projections and matters.

• Responsible for completion of client engagements including but not limited to compilations, reviews, audits and tax compliance.

• Preparing client correspondences including recommendations, technical issues and responses to taxing authorities.

• Lead necessary tax research projects using appropriate resources and technology.

• Build and manage client relationships.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification or progress towards completion.

• Minimum 4 years public accounting/tax experience preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university.

• Experience with Thomson Reuters Business Suite a plus.

• Strong working knowledge in personal and business taxation.

• Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

(GAAP) and accounting procedures.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information.
