Ultrasound TechnologistAn exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area hospital where you will use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.Minimum Requirements:Graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound or Radiologic Technology, or equivalent on-the-job training in ultrasound.American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification preferred, or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT, R) with appropriate ultrasound credentials.BLS (CPR) certification.Minimum 1 year experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer preferred.Experience working in a hospital setting or with acute-care/trauma patients preferred.Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and scheduled 80-hour pay period assignments as described by the client.Benefits:Standard employer benefits available for permanent hospital employees.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Location HighlightsExperience the Adirondack region while working in Saranac Lake, NY.
