Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Block Scheduling Available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving an adult to geriatric population
• Manage patient assignments with ratios of up to 1:6–7
• Administer and monitor IV drips, including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Complete pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date (non-billable time)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submittal
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Proficiency with IV drip management (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone) required
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities required
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
• Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for travel roles until 10 years following separation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Comfort managing higher patient ratios in a fast-paced environment
