Hands-On Technical Work

As an Assembler, you will build and inspect precision electrical and mechanical components according to specifications, drawings, and customer requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with small parts and close tolerances.

• Assemble products using build sheets, work instructions, and blueprints
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment to complete production tasks
• Cut wire, trim insulation, crimp terminals, and perform solder-dipping operations
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• Measure parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
• Assemble and inspect small components to ensure quality standards are met
• Utilize ERP systems to review production documents and routing instructions
• Maintain traceability and documentation throughout the assembly process
• Perform repetitive assembly work using microscopes or magnification equipment when required
• Package finished products according to customer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
• Support team goals and assist with additional tasks as needed

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience
• Mechanical or electrical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and measuring devices
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable working with small parts and repetitive assembly tasks
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Work in a clean, technical manufacturing setting where attention to detail is valued. Assemblers may work at organized workstations either sitting or standing while assembling wire and cable components, conducting inspections, and utilizing precision measuring tools. Many tasks involve working with small parts, magnification equipment, and highly detailed assembly processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Akron,PA.
