Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist – Carneys Point, New Jersey Start Date: May 25, 2026 Duration: 52 weeks (full-time travel assignment) Shift: 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week Employment Type: Travel assignment Requirements Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and has passed the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or is in the licensing process. Minimum one year of clinical experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT, or actively pursuing licensure in the current state. Current CPR certification. Duties and Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and potential for rehabilitation. Develop and administer individualized treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods. Create a plan of care for each physical therapy patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
