A need has arisen for experienced pharmacists to form a strong per diem team supporting multiple pharmacy locations in Tucson, AZ. This opportunity centers on providing reliable coverage for staffing gaps and workload surges within a well-established food and pharmacy retail environment. Locations include several pharmacies across Tucson, each operating Monday through Saturday, generally from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m. The average prescription volume runs from 100 to 125 per day, supported by robust pharmacy technician teams, although select smaller sites operate pharmacist-only. Advanced training will be provided to ensure seamless integration and effectiveness across all locations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional retail pharmacy services covering dispensing, counseling, and immunizations
• Flexibly cover shifts as needed to accommodate call-outs, vacations, and volume increases
• Complete an initial 8-hour training shift with additional training opportunities available
• Operate pharmacy software QS1 proficiently
• Maintain strong compliance with safety and operational protocols

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Current immunization privileges and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Comfortable working in a flexible, per diem capacity, typically 2-4 days per week

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday availability preferred
