Part Time Housekeeper - Addiction Recovery | Wooded Glen Recovery Center | Henryville, IndianaAbout the Job:The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping a clean and healthy client care environment by maintaining assigned areas in a clean, safe, sanitary and orderly manner. Advises supervisor on environmental services equipment needs and repairs. Ensures that infectious waste and confidential disposal contractors perform as scheduled.Roles and Responsibilities:Help us keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff.What You’ll DoPerform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, wax, and polish floorsClean and disinfect furniture, fixtures, equipment, and high-touch surfacesWash walls, windows, door panels, and woodworkLaunder linens using commercial washers/dryersRemake beds after client dischargeRemove trash and transport waste properlyMaintain supply inventory and cleaning equipmentFollow infection control and safety guidelinesAssist with room setup for meetings and eventsWhat We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Housekeeping experience in healthcare, clinical, or commercial setting (preferred)Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in EnglishWe seek talent, qualified employees regardless of race, gender/sex, including pregnancy, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other protected classification under state or federal law.
