Well-established, hospital-employed surgical groups seek experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA) in Dothan, Alabama. The role provides safe and competent comprehensive health care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of minor injuries and chronic illnesses, education, case management, teaching/counseling, health promotion, disease prevention, and referral when appropriate. Works in collaboration with sponsor physician(s) and is legally authorized to provide health care either autonomously or in conjunction with a physician. Responsibilities Provides safe and competent comprehensive health care services, including: Diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of minor injuries and chronic illnesses Education, case management, teaching/counseling Health promotion and disease prevention Referral to other health care professionals when appropriate Collaborates with sponsor physician(s) and practices under state authorization in various settings Requirements CRNP or PA RNFA certification required for NPs Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or MSN/CRNP Program Board Certified or Board Eligible to obtain Alabama PA or NP license Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting Experience with and willingness to perform TAVR and mitral valve procedures DEA certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
