Driver CDL

Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Driver to join our Old Lyme, CT team. This route includes New Jersey and surrounding areas. If you have reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and experience with multi‑stop routes, we’d love to hear from you. Excellent starting wage and benefits package, including 401(k) with company match and profit sharing. Essential Functions Load, secure, and unload product safely, and maintain a route schedule. Receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery of goods to ensure timely service. Demonstrated communication and customer service skills. Accurate handling of CODs, delivery manifests. Vehicle inspection before and after delivery, compliance with federal and state regulations. Excellent attendance and reliability. Minimal supervision, problem‑solving ability. Hazmat training a plus. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with prior delivery experience. Medical examiner's certificate and a satisfactory driving record within company policy limits. Ability to become certified through OSHA in Basic Hazmat, Driver Specific Hazmat, and Security Awareness. CDL preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Working Conditions The job involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing, and using arms and hands to reach, pull, push, and move materials. The employee may lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently. Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour. Compensation decisions depend on qualifications, experience, business needs, and location.
