Store Manager

Role Overview Responsible for managing all store operations, including staffing, training, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain store employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws. Lead performance management, conduct evaluations, and address employee development or disciplinary actions. Oversee daily store opening and closing, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety and security protocols. Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends, optimize expenses, and control shrinkage. Manage inventory levels through ordering, cycle counts, and merchandise presentation according to company standards. Ensure accurate cash handling, security practices, and store cleanliness to promote a safe shopping environment. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a well-organized, safe store environment. Follow company policies, complete required documentation, and support team development. Qualifications & Skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and cash handling procedures. Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic math calculations. Management experience in retail preferred; high school diploma or equivalent recommended. Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on location. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing.
