Role Description This is a full-time/hybrid role for a Consultant Dietitian in Long term Care/skilled nursing rehab based in Winston Salem. NC with hybrid opportunities. Relocation assistance will be provided to the right candidate. The RD will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy, managing weights and monitoring skin interventions, enteral feeding, monthly dialysis reviews, and improving overall nutrition for clients in skilled nursing/rehab. Conduct nutritional assessments for new admits, significant weight changes, pressure injuries, dialysis, and calculate enteral nutrition/TPN for residents in long-term care Provide dietary services following state and federal laws and regulations, and corporate guidelines. Clinical Charting (as required in states or corporations) weights, new admits, high-risk charting Nutrition education and in-service training for staff development and regulatory compliance Implementation of the plan of corrections Help prepare community for state survey Qualifications Must maintain active membership and registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Must hold North Carolina state licensure or obtain upon hire Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a team Experience in geriatrics, renal, oncology, or food safety and sanitation is a plus but not required Long term Care, LTAC, skilled nursing, rehab #J-18808-Ljbffr
