Welding:

1. Perform all process, steps, & operations under the protocol of Safety First, and will not  take any unnecessary chances to skip, modify, or ignore safety based steps or processes
2. Perform high production tacking operations in fixture based settings 
3. Perform complicated Weld off where others have completed the lay-out and tacking process
4. Perform rudimentary lay-out (non fixtured) and tacking functions for others to weld off
5. Be able to execute simple weld projects without direct oversight from Welding Team Leader
6. Contribute in a Productive manor to the overall output of the department.  
7. Weld under the guidance, training, and direction of the Welding Team Leader
8. Learn to read, understand, and follow shop drawings provided as a part of the Work Order Process

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Wear proper clothing and PPE at all times while in the manufacturing area(s)
2. Weld at all times with proper and professional welding based PPE
3. Provide assistance to other work areas on as needed or required basis
4. Show-up at your work station: At the prescribed starting time;  Dressed & ready to weld;  and  Be present during all scheduled working hours
5. Work Overtime on an as needed or scheduled basis 
6. Keep and work in a clean well organized work station or environment

Other Skill Requirements:

1. Read, use, and perform lay-out with a Tape Measure
2. Convert all 1/8 and 1/16 inch fractions to their decimal equivalent (and vise versa)
3. Read, use, and demonstrate proper use of a Caliper
4. Follow and execute both oral and written instructions
