Job Description

Seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, assembling, and welding metal components used in the production of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, working with stainless and carbon steel, and performing high-quality MIG and TIG welds in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding based on detailed blueprints.

• Fabricate industrial-sized waste handling equipment, including custom projects.

• Utilize shop equipment such as grinders, drills, and taps efficiently.

• Assist in the assembly department when needed.

• Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures accurately.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in MIG welding.

• Proficiency in fabrication and custom work.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience with drills, taps, grinders, and other shop equipment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Experience with TIG and flux core welding.

• Structural welding knowledge.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional work extending to 4:00pm as needed. The work environment is located in the main original office in downtown Hopkins, offering a comfortable and supportive setting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
