Work Environment

This full-time PTA role is onsite within a hospital setting, which provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured routine that allows for effective patient care delivery while balancing personal time. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Administer hands-on physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, while closely following established protocols.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and activities that promote optimal recovery and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes consistently, and adjust treatment plans as directed by supervising therapists.
• Collaborate with the entire healthcare team, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Apply trigger point therapy techniques when indicated to address myofascial pain and support patient recovery.
• Participate in occupational health initiatives to promote workplace wellness and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric clients. Treatment focuses on a variety of conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and general mobility issues. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping patients regain functional independence and overall wellness through tailored therapy approaches.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) state license.
• A minimum of two years' experience as a PTA in a clinical or hospital environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Competent in a variety of manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to improving patient experiences.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with specialized rehabilitation techniques, such as water therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems for documentation and patient tracking is also desirable, as it enhances workflow efficiency and patient data management.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
