Diesel Truck Mechanic- 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a Full-time Truck/Trailer Technician, (2nd shift Monday-Friday; 2-10:30pm). Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks Service, repair and diagnose brakes, suspension, axles and electrical systems Move trucks throughout the property Operate specialized tooling and vehicles Maintain proficiency in equipment and technologies that enhance our productivity Properly document all equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations into electronic maintenance program/completion of paperwork. Perform proper safety protocols and procedures, including use of protective equipment, and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policy. Ensure work area is always clean, safe, and organized Interact in a respectful and professional manner with drivers and shop management Qualifications At least 3 years of verifiable diesel truck repair & maintenance experience A valid Driver\'s License with clean driving record & Air Brakes certification( Class A CDL preferred ) Basic hand tools required for heavy duty truck maintenance Basic computer skills A strong work ethic, teamwork mindset and great character. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred Diesel technical school diploma Basic welding skills (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG and ARC) Previous or current ASE certifications PA Class 3 Inspection license For the successful applicant we will provide Competitive pay package based on experience Complete benefit package after 60 days Uniforms & Annual Shoe allowance #J-18808-Ljbffr Summerstrucking
