Bilingual Production Supervisor – Medical Manufacturing

Location: Lakeland, FL

Pay: $70k - $75k

Industry: Medical Device / High-Volume Manufacturing

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Medical device manufacturing experience (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in a GMP and FDA-regulated environment (non-negotiable)
• 5+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (non - negotiable)
• Minimum 2+ years of direct supervisory experience leading production teams (non-negotiable)
• Demonstrated ownership of KPIs and production metrics, including accountability for performance outcomes — not limited to exposure or reporting (non-negotiable)
• Hands-on involvement in Lean Manufacturing and/or structured process improvement initiatives (required)
• Strong knowledge of supervisory principles, team leadership, and performance management
• Experience training, coaching, and developing production team members
• Proven ability to plan, organize, control, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with KPIs, production metrics, and performance tracking systems
• Working knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory compliance standards
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement and waste reduction initiatives
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with QA, Materials, Engineering, and Operations teams
• Proficient in production reporting tools and standard manufacturing systems
• Ability to stand, walk, and actively supervise production activities for extended periods

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, coordinate, and lead production team members to achieve scheduled outputs while meeting safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets
• Develop and maintain effective production programs aligned with company objectives and customer requirements
• Establish, monitor, and report shift-level KPIs in partnership with the Operations Manager, ensuring accountability for performance results
• Set clear, measurable performance expectations for team members and implement corrective and developmental actions as needed
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on:
• Production efficiency and process optimization
• Material cost control and waste reduction
• Quality improvement and compliance adherence
• Inventory and stock accuracy
• Lean Manufacturing deployment and sustainment
• Support regulatory compliance efforts, including audit readiness and adherence to GMP/FDA standards
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high engagement across the production floor
