Plumbing Project Manager

Overview Our client is a well-established mechanical contractor with more than 30 years of experience delivering plumbing and mechanical solutions across the Southeast and Midwest. They have built an excellent reputation within the multi-family and commercial construction sectors, completing thousands of residential units alongside a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to their team. About the role As Plumbing Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities Managing all phases of commercial and multi-family plumbing projects. Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and manpower plans. Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documents. Preparing job cost reports, financial forecasts and work-in-progress (WIP) reports. Coordinating labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors. Managing RFIs, change orders and project documentation. Working closely with field leadership to ensure successful project delivery. Conducting regular site visits to monitor safety, quality and project progress. Building long-term relationships with clients, vendors and project stakeholders. About the candidate We're looking for an experienced Plumbing Project Manager with a proven background delivering commercial and/or multi-family construction projects. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Plumbing Project Manager. Experience managing projects valued between $500,000 and $10 million. Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices. Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, scheduling and cost control. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contracts. Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills. Proficiency with software such as Procore, Sage, Spectrum, Raken and Microsoft Office.
