Job Information Facility: North Peds Clin Therapies C Location: Bismarck, ND Address: 809 W Interstate Ave a, Bismarck, ND 58503, USA Shift: Day Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $32.00 - $46.50 Pay Info: Sign on Bonus: up to $30,000 with a commitment Job Function: Allied Health Department & Responsibilities Sanford Bismarck Speech Therapy is seeking a full‑time speech therapist. The flexibility and variety offered by our department will allow the applicant to pursue interest areas in pediatric or adult outpatient settings, with multiple opportunities to advance assessment and treatment skills across various diagnoses. Job Summary: Administers speech and language evaluations, tests or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients, patients or residents with various speech problems and swallowing disorders. Assesses clients and develops individualized treatment plans, provides services, monitors disease progression, instructs therapeutic exercises, and ensures all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols and quality requirements are met. Demonstrates flexibility with variable work schedules or assignments, participates in activities to promote the department, may supervise assistants, aides and students, and provides ongoing education to peers. May focus on post‑acute, long‑term care and home health care environments. Qualifications Appropriate education level and state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist. Licensed in the state(s) of practice. Preferred: Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or is working on a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). May require a valid driver’s license. Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days.
