Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
Location: Hancock, Michigan
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Variable Nights / Variable Evenings
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide quality nursing care in a patient-care setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of LPN experience and strong clinical and patient-care skills.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients/residents.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
- Perform nursing assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Minimum 1+ year of LPN experience .
- High School Diploma required.
- BLS-AHA certification required.
- Active LPN license for the State of Michigan .
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work evening and night shifts.
- Variable Evening / Night Shifts
- 40 hours/week
- Each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid break .
