HVAC Service Manager — Georgia Class II / CN Qualifying Supervisor

Build a North Georgia HVAC team and take the next step in technical leadership. This full-time employee role combines HVAC service and installation oversight with active qualifying-agent responsibilities, working alongside an owner who will be involved in the business.

Miller Placement is recruiting for a confidential employer launching a new HVAC operation in North Georgia.

Compensation and timing

$95,000–$115,000 annual base salary, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

An additional $1,000 monthly stipend for the active qualifying-agent responsibilities, with eligibility and payment terms documented in the written offer.

A planned quarterly profit-sharing opportunity; the formula and terms will be agreed in writing. This opening does not include initial equity.

Paid prelaunch training is planned before the end of 2026. The operating launch is targeted for early 2027; exact training dates and the paid start date will be agreed during the hiring process.

The opportunity

Help establish technical standards and shape a growing team. This is a path toward greater supervision and leadership for an experienced HVAC professional. It includes genuine operating involvement; the balance of field work and supervisory duties will be discussed with you.

What you will do

Serve as the company's active qualifying agent under your Georgia unrestricted Conditioned Air Contractor license.

Provide technical supervision for HVAC service, repair, maintenance and installation work.

Help guide technicians, troubleshoot difficult jobs and maintain safe, code-compliant work.

Work with the owner on work quality, permitting and licensing responsibilities, team development and customer service.

What matters

An active Georgia Class II / CN unrestricted Conditioned Air Contractor license and eligibility to serve as the company's qualifying agent are essential for appointment to this role.

Strong practical HVAC knowledge and the ability to guide others, exercise sound technical judgment and communicate clearly with customers and the team.

Willingness to participate actively in a full-time role in North Georgia and attend the paid prelaunch training.

You do not need a previous General Manager title, a college degree or a customer book. Licensed service managers, field supervisors, lead technicians, installation leaders and owner-operators considering a salaried role are welcome to apply.

Interested, or know someone who fits?

Send a short note about your license, HVAC leadership experience and availability. A resume is welcome but optional, and no cover letter is needed. If your Class II license is in progress, tell us your expected timing; it must be active before you take on qualifying responsibilities. Referrals are welcome too. We start with a phone conversation, followed by a meeting with the owner for suitable candidates.
