Residential Service Technician - South Campus

Maintenance TechnicianServes as the service technician for on-campus housing. Performs general maintenance work including detection and correction of mechanical failures. Assists with emergency, corrective and/or preventative maintenance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs various resident maintenance work including, but not limited to plumbing, appliance, HVAC, electrical and/or carpentryPerforms basic routine electrical repairs such as wiring, fuses, fixtures, sockets, and repair and/or install HVAC systemsPerforms routine plumbing repairs such as repair or replacement of water heaters, clearing drain lines, replacing broken piping, washers, gaskets, faucets, toiletsAssists in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractorsNotifies leadership of any usual occurrences, potential safety hazards and/or damageRequired Qualifications:Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalentOther Required Qualifications: Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license EPA certification in class l, ll, and lll type equipment or ability to obtain EPA universal refrigerant certification within six (6) months of hire date Required Experience: Five (5) years related work experienceProposed Salary: The budgeted salary range is $24.26 to $30.34 per hour.
