Duties: Job Summary: Under general direction, performs routine and advanced professional and technical work for the OU Health Histology Laboratory. Essential Responsibilities: -Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. -Receives tissue specimens from clinical services and autopsy suite, determines if specimens are labeled as to type of specimens and assigns surgical pathology or autopsy accession number to specimens. 

Education: Required Education: -Associates degree in Histology or Natural Sciences

Required Certifications & Licensure: - MLT, MT, HTL or HT Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A null
