Warehouse Associate

What we are looking for: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely shipment of machines, parts, equipment, and products to customers. Additionally you will responsible for receipt, storage, organization or products delivered into the warehouse.

Back to the role:

What you will do:

• Pick and pack materials for shipping based on customer orders, material queues, Bills of Ladings, and job material lists.

• Receive and ship merchandise.

• Check in merchandise by recording amounts via appropriate computer program.

• Move materials from receiving area or storage areas to shipping area or other designated areas.

• Get shipping quotes and create shipping labels.

• Assist on the cycle count and physical inventory process

• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed

• Keep the building and exterior of building clean i.e., sweep, dust, mop, shovel, throw salt.

• Keep warehouse and work area organized and orderly.

• This position may be required to perform some simple installation of parts (coin-drops, face plates and coin-boxes) in machines on a shop floor using mechanical and electrical tools.

• Perform other duties/projects as assigned

What you should have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Deadline-driven with effective time management skills.

• Knowledge of computers and software applications

• Experience using shipping software platforms such as UPS and Fed Ex

• Proficiency with Excel a plus

• Knowledge of scanners and handheld devices is helpful.

• Ability to prioritize

• Attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Procedural mindset

• Organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures

• Hardworking, dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills and tasks.

• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work with mechanical and electrical tools.

Education and Experience:

• Past warehouse pick and pack experience is required

• Previous experience with electric pallet jack and or forklift preferred

• Knowledge with UPS/FedEx/DHL

• High school diploma or GED required
