Dispatcher – Transdev, El Monte, CA Transdev is hiring a Dispatcher to oversee road service through coordination with Operators and to provide customer support to clients. The role requires a customer‑service focused professional dedicated to safety. Employment Details Non‑CBA position Competitive compensation: minimum $20.16 ($41,932.80) – maximum $21.22 ($44,137.60) Benefits Vacation: minimum 2 weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating) Standard benefits: 401(k), medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, voluntary long‑term disability Key Responsibilities Oversee road service carriers by tracking trip performance, ensuring routes begin on time, and monitoring incidents. Provide customer support, responding to questions and concerns about trips, including no‑shows, cancellations, and missed trips. Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between carriers and emergency services. Review route performance daily and proactively address situations impacting customer service. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree preferred). 3‑5 years of dispatching experience. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Problem‑solving and analytical skills. Availability to work weekends; open availability preferred. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. Physical Requirements Work shifts or flexible schedules as needed. Job includes long periods of sitting, typing, or computer use. Environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings.
