Location: Canopy by Hilton Downtown Ithaca - Strand Cafe About Us: At Canopy by Hilton, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional experience for our guests. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team and help us continue to serve up delicious mornings! Position: Full-Time Breakfast Cook Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (may vary) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, omelets and specialty dishes. Bake fresh pastries daily, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency. Follow recipes and presentation standards to create appealing and delicious dishes. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations. Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards. Adapt to special dietary requests and preferences as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a breakfast cook or similar role, preferably in a hotel or café setting. Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and pastry preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Creative mindset with a passion for food and baking. Positive attitude and strong team player with good communication skills.
