Job Description The Banking Systems Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and operational support of application systems for a Japanese bank in the U.S. This role involves coordinating with local and overseas teams, resolving software issues, managing system documentation, and supporting end users through Help Desk services. Bilingual in English and Japanese (Native-level English preferred; Business-level Japanese acceptable). Location Manhattan Midtown, NY (Hybrid – 2 days in office) Key Responsibilities Implement and support system operations for a Japanese bank in the U.S. Analyze, design, modify, and maintain application systems to meet user requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders in the U.S. and Japan. Candidate Requirements Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Banking industry knowledge and related development experience Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field At least 5 years of experience in system application implementation Strong analytical skills for requirements analysis and troubleshooting Intermediate SQL reading and writing skills (required) Bilingual in English and Japanese (Native-level English preferred; Business-level Japanese acceptable) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access Banking knowledge is a plus but not essential Salary Range $77,000 – $94,000 per year Working Hours Core hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (with 1-hour unpaid lunch) Hours may vary based on business needs In-person attendance: 2 days/week Vacation: 10 days Personal Days: 2 days 401(k) plan included Additional Information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job functions: Consulting, IT, Project Management Industries: IT Services, IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr iiicareer | Interesse International Inc.
