Step into a role where craft meets purpose. As our Finish Carpentry Specialist, you’ll turn detailed plans into beautifully built realities—partnering with a collaborative crew that values precision, safety, and great client experiences.
A Day in the LifeYour morning starts with a quick review of drawings, then careful measuring and layout. You’ll cut and shape wood, plastics, and other materials to specification, assemble or install trim and fixtures, and ensure every joint and surface meets exacting standards. Throughout the day, you’ll coordinate with other trades, keep tools in top condition, and verify that every task aligns with building codes and safety practices. Before you wrap, you’ll communicate progress and next steps with team members and clients so projects keep moving smoothly.
What You’ll Do- Measure, mark, cut, and shape a variety of materials per project specs.
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures with a meticulous finish.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to plan each phase of work.
- Meet building codes and safety regulations on every task.
- Collaborate closely with other trades and teammates to deliver on schedule.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and care for hand and power tools.
- Provide clear, courteous communication and excellent service to clients.
- Proven background as a carpenter or similar craftsperson.
- Deep knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and finish techniques.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Comfort with hand and power tools common to the trade.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Physical stamina with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Proficient in woodworking.
