Duties

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

• Plans, assigns, directs, reviews, and evaluates the work of a multi-disciplinary trades and labor workforce performing facility maintenance and operations throughout the Colorado River District.
• Manages district facility operations and maintenance for buildings, utilities, roads, fleet and equipment, campgrounds, grounds, and related infrastructure, including preventive, corrective, cyclic, and deferred maintenance work.
• Plans and manages work schedules, staffing, materials, equipment, training, budgets, work orders, condition assessments, and facility management data; develops scopes of work and coordinates contracted services and facility projects.
• Directs safe operation and maintenance of potable water and wastewater systems, mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, roads, heavy equipment, fleet, and seasonal/emergency operations including snow removal, storm response, and hazard mitigation.
• Performs full supervisory and administrative responsibilities including performance management, leave and payroll approval, employee development, safety program implementation, recruitment support, and coordination with park divisions, partners, concessioners, and service providers.
