Opportunity:

RN - Skilled Nursing

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
• Block schedule with 8-hour shift options available
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating requirements apply
• Scrub color: Any solid color, clean and professional
• Patient ratio: RNs 1:20, LPNs 1:20, CNAs 1:8
• Common diagnoses include dementia, frail elderly, and rehabilitation patients
• Job duties include charting, assessments, charge duties, medication administration, and clinical skills such as IVs, catheters, and ostomy care
• IV and titratable drip experience required
• Elderly care experience required
• Interdisciplinary team includes therapy, administration, social workers, activities, dietary, and housekeeping
• EMR system: ECS
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)

Facility:

This post-acute care facility is a nursing home attached to a hospital, offering a comprehensive care environment for long-term care patients. The facility houses 70 beds, the majority of which are private, and provides 24/7 respiratory therapy, on-site pharmacy with a medication dispensing system, and physician availability after hours. The interdisciplinary team approach ensures well-rounded patient care across multiple departments.
