This travel BCBA role offers the satisfaction of working with a partnering cooperative district to support physically robust 6th-12th grade students exhibiting extreme behaviors. Partnering with a dedicated support team—including paras, RBTs, and aides—you’ll hone your leadership abilities by training staff, shaping intervention strategies, and ensuring a safe, proactive learning environment. What We’re Looking For:

• BCBA Certification (please note: this role is not RBT-eligible for unrestricted hours)
• Proven experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs
• Ability to design, implement, and oversee crisis interventions and behavioral support plans
• Skilled in training and leading RBTs, teachers, and classroom aides

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted strategies
• Support and mentor RBTs and paras; provide ongoing staff training
• Collaborate with teachers; focus on behavioral interventions (academic supports handled separately)
• Lead crisis planning (elopement, self-injury, aggressive behaviors, hygiene management)
• Participate in team leadership and support continuity of care
