Maintenance Supervisor

EZ Loader is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and help keep our production facility safe, efficient, and ready to perform. This is an opportunity to combine strong technical skills with leadership, planning, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do

• Lead and support maintenance employees, assign work, and promote a safe, team-oriented workplace.
• Plan and oversee equipment repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, and facility maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and HVAC-related issues.
• Respond to emergency repairs during production and coordinate scheduled work during downtime.
• Maintain repair records, maintenance logs, schedules, inventory, and daily progress reports.
• Monitor maintenance expenses, review repair estimates, and support budget oversight.
• Drive equipment reliability, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure work areas, tools, and maintenance activities meet company safety standards.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED; a craft apprenticeship or equivalent production maintenance experience.
• Four or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills.
• PLC and HVAC experience preferred; boiler or Quick Recovery Flat Flame Furnace experience is a plus.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred but not required.
• Clear communication, practical problem-solving, and the ability to lead and train others.
• Computer literacy and the ability to read manuals, work orders, safety rules, and technical instructions.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules when operations require it.

Physical & Work Environment

This active, hands-on role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and equipment operation; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and the ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds. The position regularly works around moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, and outdoor climate conditions.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of education and production maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills required.
• PLC and HVAC experience preferred.
• Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred but not required.
• Boiler experience or Quick Recovery Flat Flame Furnace experience preferred but not required.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in written and verbal communication required.

Communication Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and employees of the organization.

Mathematical and Technical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools, including tape measures.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Problem-Solving and Reasoning

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to identify problems and apply practical solutions in standardized situations.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues, determine appropriate repairs, and make necessary adjustments.
