Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist plans and conducts treatment programs aimed at restoring and improving physical, social, and mental functions while fulfilling departmental objectives. This role includes serving as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Job Requirements

• Education and Work Experience:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if obtained license on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent.
  • Two years of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice required.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required per policy.

Essential Functions

• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses areas requiring attention.
• Utilizes appropriate clinical techniques and tools to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Delivers therapy interventions following established treatment protocols and techniques.
• Creates individualized care and discharge plans, communicating them to relevant parties.
• Maintains comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
