Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Black River Falls, WI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their ambulatory clinic. This opportunity is a contract position with a potential to transition into a permanent role after 13+ weeks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend shifts required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions and pharmacy guidelines.
- Assist pharmacists with daily operations, including inventory management and patient interactions.
- Maintain records and handle prescription documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in an ambulatory clinic or similar setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
