We are a team of nearly 25 PR strategists, digital media specialists and video producers who implement comprehensive campaigns that achieve results for our dynamic client base. ABOUT THIS ROLE VVK PR Creative is seeking an Accounting & HR Manager to oversee the firm’s financial administration and human resources operations. This role reports to the CEO and serves as a critical internal partner responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting employees, managing benefits and insurance programs, and helping the agency build efficient, scalable financial systems. This position manages the day-to-day accounting, payroll, HR administration, and business insurance functions of the agency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting & Financial Administration Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Manage employee expense reporting and corporate card reconciliation Support monthly close activities and financial reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Coordinate year-end reporting and tax preparation with the CPA Payroll Administration Process payroll accurately and on schedule Manage payroll deductions, benefits withholdings, and related administration Maintain payroll records and compliance requirements Human Resources Administration Manage employee HR elements of onboarding and offboarding Process employee status changes and compensation updates Support policy administration and employee communications Benefits Administration Administer medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability plans Manage enrollments, changes, and terminations Coordinate annual open enrollment activities Insurance & Risk Management Manage agency insurance portfolio and policy renewals Maintain certificates of insurance and compliance documentation CFO, CPA & Vendor Coordination Serve as primary liaison to the contract CFO and CPA Coordinate financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Manage relationships with payroll, banking, insurance, and benefits partners Process Improvement, Systems & AI Continuously evaluate processes for efficiency and effectiveness Recommend and implement workflow improvements Research and implement automation solutions Explore and apply AI-enabled tools supporting reporting, forecasting, payroll, and administration WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, HR administration, or related roles. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
