As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol in West Columbia SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support access activity throughout the site. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas shipping and receiving zones parking areas and the exterior perimeter noting unusual activity maintenance issues and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees contractors visitors and/or deliveries helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting established badge sign-in and vehicle procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel following post orders and completing required logs reports and other security-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
