Specimen Management Clinical Specialist RN

Becton Dickinson seeks a clinical specialist nurse to support the Specimen Management business unit across the Pacific Northwest. The field-based role involves partnering with hospital customers on clinical process optimization, driving efficiency improvements, and facilitating change management initiatives in laboratory and nursing operations.

Responsibilities

Build partnerships with customers as clinical process advisor and product specialist
Identify and recommend process improvements across laboratory and nursing departments
Lead stakeholder interviews and facilitate change management for process optimization projects
Deliver presentations and reports to nursing, laboratory, infection prevention, and hospital leadership
Monitor workflow and product utilization to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and department efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, nursing, life science, or related field
MT ASCP certification or LEAN certification (or obtain within 6 months)
4-6 years' experience in process improvement and change management in medical device/IVD industries
Strong financial analysis, communication, and presentation skills
Basic knowledge of hospital laboratory IT systems and LIS data
Nursing background preferred; hospital lab or infection prevention experience preferred
