Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Job Overview The Part‑Time Retail Merchandiser role involves executing display projects at major retail stores across an assigned territory. The employee will represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel. Responsibilities Visit stores to configure, assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot promotional displays. Complete projects on schedule, typically up to 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; weekends and evenings are not required. Submit same‑day digital surveys with photos and feedback for each store visit. Travel across the region, including potential for additional hours when covering larger areas. Compensation & Benefits Base rate of $17.00 per hour for general merchandising projects. Higher pay for technical projects based on need. W‑2 employment with bi‑weekly pay and direct deposit. Optional 401(k) plan with company match. Store‑to‑store travel reimbursement (mileage). Paid training time provided. Accrued paid time off for every week worked. Qualifications Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable. Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the territory. Attention to detail—follow complex written instructions and display diagrams. Independent and team‑oriented: capable of working alone and collaborating with a small team when needed. Tech‑ready: internet access, basic handheld tools, Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS; laptop/desktop access is a plus. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle; vehicle use required for job duties. Physical stamina: stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
