Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. - Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide feedback in real time. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: This position is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The facility is licensed for 815 beds. The hospital has received national recognition for clinical quality and patient safety. It serves as the region's referral center for trauma and stroke care. The emergency department has 101 beds with typical patient ratios of 4:1. Staffing includes techs, unit clerks, and advanced monitoring equipment. Documentation is done using a specific electronic health record system. Every other weekend scheduling is required, with a policy against block scheduling. The role includes floating to different areas within the emergency department as needed. All certifications must be completed prior to the start date.
